By using this website or placing an order through it, you agree to the terms below. This site is operated by Deepali Bakshi (the author).

Orders and pricing

• All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully verified. Until then no contract of sale exists.
• An order may be declined, and any amount paid refunded in full, if a title is out of stock, if a price or description was shown in error, or if the order cannot be delivered to the given address.
• Direct orders placed here are shipped within India. For international delivery, please use the Amazon listings linked from each book page.

Payments

Payments are collected through Razorpay. By paying you also accept Razorpay's terms for the payment method you choose. This site does not receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.

Delivery, cancellations and refunds

Delivery timelines, cancellation windows and refund terms are set out in the Shipping, Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Digital books

E-books are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial reading on your own devices. They may not be redistributed, resold, uploaded to file-sharing services, or used to create derivative works. Because a digital file cannot be returned once delivered, e-book sales are final except where the file is faulty or was never delivered.

Copyright

All text, book covers, photographs and other content on this site are the property of the author or her publishers and are protected by copyright. Short quotations for review or discussion are welcome with attribution. Reproducing substantial portions of any work without written permission is not permitted.

Reader submissions

Messages sent through the contact form are read as correspondence, not as manuscript submissions. Unsolicited creative work may not be read or returned, and sending it creates no obligation or confidentiality on the author's part.

Availability and liability

This site is provided as is. Reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
