Questions and Answers
Everything readers ask before ordering: how long a book takes to arrive, how signing works, which formats exist, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Ordering and delivery
- How long does delivery take?
- Paperbacks are dispatched from Hyderabad within one business day of a confirmed order, and reach most addresses in India in one to three days after that. A tracking link is emailed once the parcel leaves.
- How much does delivery cost?
- Nothing. Delivery anywhere in India is free, and there is no separate courier charge at checkout. The price shown on the book is the price you pay.
- Do I need an account to order?
- No. You can check out as a guest with only a delivery address and an email address. Creating an account is optional and lets you track this and future orders in one place.
- How can I pay?
- Payment is handled by Razorpay in a secure window: UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, and Visa or Mastercard cards. Card details are entered with Razorpay and never touch this site.
- Can I order from outside India?
- Direct orders ship within India only. Readers elsewhere can buy the same titles in paperback or e-book from Amazon; every book page links to its listing.
Signed copies
- How do I get a signed copy?
- Tick "Have it signed by the author" at checkout. Deepali signs the copy by hand before it is packed. Signing adds ₹99 to the order and is available only on books ordered here, not on Amazon.
- Can I ask for a dedication or a name in the book?
- Yes. Order the signed copy, then email hello@deepalibakshi.com with your payment reference and the name or message you would like written. Ask before the book is dispatched, which is usually within one business day.
- Is a signed copy slower to arrive?
- No. Signing happens before the parcel is packed, so a signed order is dispatched on the same schedule as any other: within one business day of payment.
Formats and where to buy
- Which formats is each book available in?
- Every title is available as a paperback. Most are also available as an e-book, and a few have a hardcover edition. The formats that exist for a particular book are listed on its own page.
- Where do I buy the e-book?
- E-books are sold through Amazon, and each book page links to its Kindle edition. Paperbacks bought here are the only format that comes signed.
- Why buy here rather than on Amazon?
- Ordering here is the only way to get a copy signed by hand, delivery within India is free, and the money reaches the author directly rather than through a marketplace. Amazon is the better route if you are outside India or want the e-book.
Returns and problems
- What if the book arrives damaged or is the wrong title?
- Email hello@deepalibakshi.com within seven days of delivery with your payment reference and a photograph. A replacement is sent at no cost, or a full refund is issued if a replacement is not available.
- Can I cancel an order?
- A paperback order can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — email hello@deepalibakshi.com with your payment reference. Once the parcel is with the courier it can no longer be cancelled, but the replacement and refund terms still apply.
- My order has not arrived. What should I do?
- Check the tracking link emailed when the parcel was dispatched, then write to hello@deepalibakshi.com with your payment reference. Order emails are usually answered within two business days.
The books
- In what order should I read the Twin Flame books?
- Twin Flame comes first and describes the experience of a twin flame connection. Twinflame: Book II revisits the same ground through biology, psychology and the nervous system. Either can be read alone, but the first book gives the second its context.
- Which book should I start with?
- For romance, start with Love Me Like a K-Drama. For a psychological thriller, start with A Thousand Miles Apart. For mythological fiction, start with Dwarka: The Golden Verdict. For reflective non-fiction, start with Twin Flame.
- Are the books suitable for younger readers?
- The novels are written for adult and young-adult readers. They deal with relationships, loss and self-discovery rather than explicit content, and the descriptions on each book page say what to expect.
- Can I request a review copy?
- Reviewers and book bloggers can write to hello@deepalibakshi.com saying which title interests them and where they post reviews. Review copies are sent out as they are available.
Still need an answer?
Write to hello@deepalibakshi.com and Deepali will reply herself, usually within two or three days. The full terms are in the shipping and refund policy and the terms of service.
